Hello, my name is Karlos
Before launching IMG MVR Productions, I spent 12 years in higher education and non-profit development. My proudest moments were completing multiple $20 million plus capital campaigns to build Samueli Academy, a high school for foster and underserved youth in Santa Ana, CA.
Our small and mighty team connected with students daily to learn their stories and create compelling media to draw support for their needs. We captured the community’s hearts, cultivated relationships, secured major gifts, and stewarded their generosity.
It required me to be a fundraiser, copywriter, graphic designer, photographer and video producer with a mission. You know the drill - wear multiple hats.
At every beat, the students’ stories did the heavy lifting. This began my love for storytelling.
I learned the key to successfully moving prospects toward solicitation is authentic storytelling tailored to their specific interests and passions.
